Eleanor’s knowledge of the recovery process was invaluable to me prior to my full knee replacement surgery. She is a highly competent communicator. The booking process was straight forward. The delivery process was efficient and exactly as described. Post operation the NICE compression was INVALUABLE! The equipment is so convenient and easy to use and it certainly got me through the pain and swelling barriers. I seamlessly extended my initial hire period; the cold therapy allowed me to carry out the necessary physio at home. I suffered a Trimalleolar fracture on holiday in Rome and they used a NICE1 recovery kit post - op, It reduced my need for painkillers and reduced the swelling so when I got back to London I ordered the kit for 2 weeks and found the service to be excellent. Excellent service from start to finish. Eleanor was incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable throughout, making everything straightforward and stress-free. The equipment arrived on time, was easy to use and made a real difference to my recovery. I’d highly recommend Recovery Kit to anyone having hip surgery.
The team were very helpful when my surgery got postponed a month with just 48hrs notice. The kit was already out for delivery and they arranged for the kit to be picked up quickly and adjusted the rental dates for my new surgery date. While recovering from my op, it was really quick and easy to use and great for pain relief. Though expensive, the great customer service and easy drop-off/pick-up logistics definitely make it worth it.

Do I need a prescription or a referral?
No. You can hire or buy any of our equipment directly, with no prescription or referral needed. If you are recovering from surgery it is always worth checking with your surgeon or physiotherapist that cold and compression therapy suits your particular procedure, and our team is happy to talk through what we supply.
How do I know what I need?
Start with what you've had done: our recovery pages for the knee, hip, shoulder, ankle and foot, and back each list everything we offer for that area. If you're still unsure, tell us about your surgery or injury and we'll suggest the right kit.
How quickly will it arrive?
Delivery is free on hires and on most orders; an order of only Incrediwear braces or walking poles is £3.49. Hires are dispatched to land on the start date you choose, so order before 2pm the working day before. Items bought outright usually ship within 1–2 working days.
What if I need it for longer than I booked?
Extend your hire in a couple of clicks, or switch to a monthly subscription — a two-month minimum, then cancel with 5 working days' notice before a renewal. Nobody has to guess their recovery timeline up front.
How do I send a hire back?
It's free and there's nothing to print. Choose a Royal Mail collection from your home, or drop it off at any Post Office with the prepaid QR code we send you.
