Recovery Kit Ltd — Equipment Hire Terms and Conditions

Parties and Equipment

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the hire of equipment ("Equipment") by the customer ("Hirer") from Recovery Kit Ltd ("Company"). The Equipment includes the NICE1 Recovery Unit, the selected wrap for the relevant body part, the shipping box, and all included accessories.

Hire Period and Confirmation

The hire period is specified at the time of booking and displayed before checkout. After payment is completed, the Hirer will receive an email confirmation containing a paid invoice, which will include the hire start and end dates and a copy of these Terms and Conditions.

Cancellations and Refunds

Once the Equipment has been dispatched, no refund will be issued. If the Hirer wishes to cancel prior to dispatch, they must notify the Company as soon as possible.

Deferrals

If the Hirer's operation or procedure is cancelled or postponed, the Hirer may request a deferral of the hire start date. The Company will endeavour to accommodate such requests on a best-effort basis, subject to availability, and cannot guarantee that a deferral will be possible. To be considered for a free-of-charge deferral, the Hirer must notify the Company at least 72 hours before the scheduled dispatch date. Requests received less than 72 hours before dispatch may, if accommodated, incur a deferral administration charge.

Return Requirements

The Hirer must return the Equipment in full and in good working order no later than 5:00pm on the final day of the hire period, using the return packaging provided by the Company. The Hirer may choose to return by Royal Mail collection or by dropping the package off at a Post Office using a prepaid label provided by the Company. Return arrangements can be initiated via the link provided in the end-of-hire email, or by contacting the Company directly. The return must be initiated by 5:00pm on the final day of the hire period.

Late Returns and Additional Charges

Failure to return the Equipment by the due date will result in additional charges, including but not limited to extended hire fees, recovery costs, and/or replacement fees. These charges are payable immediately upon notification.

Extensions

Prior to the end of the hire period, the Company will send the Hirer an email with options to extend or arrange a return. The Hirer may extend their hire by selecting an extension option and completing payment online, or arrange a return by selecting a return option in the email. Extensions are subject to additional charges as displayed at the time of booking. If the Hirer does not respond, the Company may contact the Hirer directly.

Use and Care of Equipment

The Hirer agrees to use the Equipment safely, responsibly, and only in accordance with any instructions provided. The Hirer must not modify, tamper with, or misuse the Equipment in any way.

Loss, Faults, and Damage

Any fault, damage, or loss must be reported to the Company immediately. The Hirer is liable for any loss or damage to the Equipment during the hire period, except for reasonable wear and tear as determined by the Company. Recovery Kit Ltd reserves the right to charge the full replacement cost for any Equipment not returned or returned in an irreparable condition.

Liability Disclaimer

Recovery Kit Ltd accepts no responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use or misuse of the Equipment, except where such liability cannot be lawfully excluded. The Hirer assumes full responsibility for the Equipment and its use for the duration of the hire period.

Acceptance of Terms

By completing an online payment, the Hirer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions of Hire.
