Very good bit of kit. So easy to handle. I needed help the first few days after getting home from hospital with two hip replacements. After that, i was able to fit the cold pack to one hip, after a session (i generally did 30 or 35 minutes) I could move the pack to second hip, perhaps back to first hip, or take a break for a while. So much handier than dealing with icepacks (especially if your freezer is below refrigerator, and there isn't always a helper at hand) and the added benefit of compression, which combined with lovely big area of coldness, helps to ease the unpleasant hot ache of post surgery hips. This is my first experience of using Recovery Kit. I have no other experience to compare it to. I can only say that i rented the machine upon recommendation of two Anericans who had each had one hip replaced. They loved the Recovery Kit. Told me I HAD TO get it! So i did. I loved it too. I had it for a month approximately. Yes it is expensive. £425.00 for 25 days. Another week for £100.00 more. However when you think of the cost of the machine to buy, and the management and maintenance needed, it is understandable. I miss it. But i am doing very well. Hot ache is gone. Mobility improvement each day.

We used the NICE1 recovery system after my son’s knee surgery, and it made a huge difference in managing his pain and swelling. It’s very quiet, compact compared to other machines we looked at, and incredibly easy to use. One of the best features is that you only need to fill it with water once, so there’s no constant refilling or dealing with ice. You can also dim the screen, which was really useful when he was using it at night. The service was also excellent. The team was very helpful and responsive, which made the whole experience even easier. The only downside for us was that it can only be used on one knee at a time. My son had bilateral knee surgery, so we had to keep switching it from one leg to the other. Overall, we were extremely happy with it and found it made his recovery much more comfortable. I would definitely recommend it for post-surgery recovery.

What a fabulous piece of kit. Arrived on time, which was 2 days before op, so I could get it ready and In position for post op. So simple to set up and use. Step by step instructions. Like I said so so simple. If I say 5 minutes, that would be over exaggerated. It was better than I thought it would have been. When your hire is coming to and end a couple of days before you get the return reminder or an option to extend. I took the option and extended it for two more weeks. I cannot recommend highly enough. Return was a simple process too. Put it in the same box as delivered in, take to post office, they scan a code that is sent. That's it. Even easier if you want it collecting from the house by royal mail. I had it for a TKR of the left knee. I am on the list for my right knee doing. 100% I will be hiring one again. Absolutely wonderful ,5 star!! i couldn't have done without it during my recovery from DGS surgery. I would not hesitate to hire this again and cant recommend it highly enough. I had a competitor's machine last year following hip surgery but the NICE1 recovery kit was so much easier, so much better as you dont have to fill it up with ice every time you need it. As you can imagine when recovering the last thing you need is to keep walking to the freezer ! the ease of use and the relief it gave me was incredible! The customer service was excellent too and i have already recommended this wonderful machine to friends and colleagues, who work in the fitness industry . I even sent a link to my Physio's for them to recommend too! thats how good it really is

This was absolutely brilliant. From the ease of ordering, the delivery, to the return process. The actual machine was a god send in my recovery from a total knee replacement. It is easy to operate, has plenty of choice of settings and only uses 300mm of water which lasts for days! I would definitely recommend for anybody having a knee replacement. This was my second knee replacement and using this machine this time around has hastened my recovery so much by not only reducing the swelling after the operation but also helping with the pain. The compression and cold really do bring relief. My physio was amazed at my progress 5 weeks post operation. My recommendation would be to hire for 3/4 weeks to get the full benefit and most relief.
